Transport Information
Your new exotic pets will be carefully delivered via a USDA-licensed transporter through reliable door-to-door ground transport. These nationwide routes occur once or twice a month, and we will keep you updated on your pet’s travel schedule. While the exact delivery date will be confirmed by the transporter, we always strive to ensure your pet arrives as quickly as possible.
Delivery Estimates
Delivery times are subject to change due to factors like weather, traffic, and road conditions. However, we will notify you promptly of any updates to the delivery estimate. The transporter will contact you directly by phone when they are nearing your location to ensure smooth communication. We deliver to all states, ensuring that no matter where you’re located, your pet will be safely delivered.
Receiving Your Pet
To make the process as easy as possible, the buyer or an authorized recipient will need to meet the transporter within 15 minutes of their arrival. Simply show a valid government-issued photo ID and sign the necessary paperwork (USDA Transfer Form and the Exotic Pet Home contract). If, for any reason, you are unable to meet the transporter in person, we will work with you to find a solution, whether that means scheduling another delivery attempt or arranging a local pickup.

Transport Stress
We acknowledge that transport can be a stressful experience for pets, and we take every precaution to minimize this. Once the animal leaves our care, we ensure it is in the best condition possible for travel. In the unlikely event that any issues arise during transport, we will take immediate action to address them and keep you informed every step of the way. If you wish to insure your pet during transport for added peace of mind, we can guide you through that process.
Cancellation Policy
While we strive for a seamless experience, we understand that sometimes plans change. If for any reason you need to cancel the sale, we will make it easy for you. You will be refunded the full amount, minus any transport fees that have already been incurred. We will ensure that the process is as convenient as possible and will help you explore all options for a new delivery or pickup if needed.
Transport Fees
The following transport fees are estimates and include all travel-related costs, including the carrier, food, and necessary supplies for bedding changes. Additional carriers to the same address will be offered at a discounted rate.
Hedgehogs:
$200 for up to 3 baby hedgehogs (or 2 adults) in a single crate.
$100 for each additional crate going to the same address.
A travel container with bedding and food is provided at no extra cost.Sugar Gliders:
$225 for a transport cage with up to 3 adult gliders or 4 babies (includes the cage, which you get to keep).
$125 for each additional cage going to the same address.
